From Vaccination to Oxygen Distribution, Sinar Mas Raises Assistance to Deal with the Pandemic

The Covid-19 pandemic has almost a year and a half paralyzing people's mobility.
Almost all companies are under pressure, and many have even gone out of business. Likewise, people who are squeezed economically during the pandemic. Even in the midst of difficult conditions, a number of corporations have worked hand in hand to assist the government in raising aid to ease the burden on the community. One of the major conglomerates in Indonesia, Sinar Mas, has also invited various parties to distribute assistance in handling the pandemic. The assistance provided starts from providing products needed by the community, supporting vaccination programs to distributing oxygen which is a vital need for Covid-19 patients. Recently, for example, Sinar Mas through the non-profit organization Eka Tjipta Foundation (ETF) in collaboration with Kanisius College alumni held a mass vaccination on 5-18 July 2021. It is planned that the Canisius Vaccination will be held again in the first week of August 2021. Deputy Chairperson of the ETF Hong Tjhin said the Canisius Vaccination is one of the efforts to expand the reach of vaccinations to the public outside Sinar Mas' internal scope. In addition to adults, this vaccination is also intended for students over the age of 12.
