The Plantation Office of Riau Province stated that the selling price of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) for oil palm in Riau Province for the next week has decreased again.
Head of Processing and Marketing of the Plantation Office of Riau Province, Defris Hatmaja, said that the price of FFB for palm oil decreased almost evenly in every age group. "The biggest decline occurred in the 10-20 year age group of IDR 69.91 per kilogram or reaching 2.88 percent from last week's price," he said. 361.59 per kilogram. He added that the decline in the price of palm oil FFB was influenced by the decline in CPO prices on the Malaysia Exchange which weakened by 11.29 percent point-to-point, so that the price of Riau's leading commodity is now back below MYR4,000 per tonne.
