The Sinarmas Group represented by Smartfren Telecom (FREN) and Alibaba represented by (API Investment LTD) according to news circulating in the near future will soon announce the purchase of DANA digital financial services.
Currently, the Sinarmas Group is finalizing with PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK) to acquire DANA. EMTK is known to own 49% shares in PT Elang Andalan Nusantara (EAN), which fully owns PT Espay Debit Indonesia Koe (DANA) while Ant Financial through API Investment Limited holds 45% shares in EAN. The sale of EMTK's DANA is due to the fact that EMTK already has OVO together with GRAB which will shrink by 12.5% and 79.5% respectively by the end of 2021.
